Cloud and Sea Luxury Residence
Project Name: Cloud and Sea Luxury Residence
Design Year: 2024
Gross Built Area: 186,525m2
Project location: Hainan, Haikou, China
Hainan's unique climate is characterized by a continuous sea of clouds. A wisp of floating cloud and a wave of ocean waves intertwine, perfectly complementing the poetic line "the sea of clouds stretches endlessly," hence the name” Cloud and Sea”.
Cloud and Sea Luxury Residence is divided into two sections: the "Haitao Commercial Street" on the east side is a park-like commercial district centered around sports; the "Yunduan Club" on the west side is a luxurious residential area focused on the ocean view.
The West Luxury Residential Area
Leveraging the natural environment, we create luxurious residences with an international perspective.
The staggered spatial layout of the towers resembles the interweaving of warp and weft, a dynamic yet meticulously organized piece of fabric. The interlaced spaces create large ocean-view flats, allowing every unit to enjoy the ocean view. The tower's elevated ground floor provides a comfortable shared space for residents to return home and engage in community activities. The luxurious entrance lobby, connected by a weatherproof and landscaped corridor, enhances the overall homecoming experience. Above the tower, a sky clubhouse is located on a super-high-rise corridor, offering cultural activities and a swimming pool, providing a tranquil space for urban elites to escape the hustle and bustle and exchange ideas. Atop the corridor is an open-air infinity pool, where the water merges with the blue sky, blurring the boundaries. Swimming within it, one feels as if transported to a vast expanse of the sky. Looking down, the emerald waters blend beautifully with the vast ocean beyond.
East Side Park-Style Commercial Block
The east side park-style commercial block, themed around sports and leisure, breaks with traditional business models by integrating nature. Four anchor stores are scattered across the site, enhancing the project's quality and driving the development of surrounding businesses. The southern end gathers key urban pedestrian traffic to form an urban sports plaza; the northern end connects to the surrounding green space and the coastal park, creating a natural leisure plaza.
Small spaces of varying functions are scattered across the Li brocade pattern. A wave of waves surging toward the shore unifies these spaces, forming a dynamic wave-like roof. Beneath this wave-like roof, a pleasant and diverse outdoor public space is created. While providing shade from the scorching sun, it also provides natural ventilation throughout the venue, creating a pleasant microclimate that enhances and inspires the urban experience for citizens. This will become an ideal destination for exercise, shopping, and socializing, a key node in the coastal park promenade, and a new landmark for Haikou
